The Automobile Driving Museum
Ever have the urge to ride in a 1936 Ford Roadster? The Automobile Driving Museum is the only car museum in Southern California that takes you for a ride you’ll never forget.
The Old Town Music Hall
Old Town Music Hall is a treasured cultural landmark located in El Segundo, California, not far from the Los Angeles International Airport.
Since 1968, Old Town Music Hall has been showing vintage silent and sound films, and presenting live concerts by some of the world's finest performers of jazz, ragtime, and popular music from the past.
Silent films are accompanied by the Mighty Wurlitzer, a massive 1925 wind-powered pipe organ that has been meticulously preserved so that silent classics can be experienced with live musical accompaniment, just as they did when they were first shown. It's something you really have to see and hear to believe.
Art Walk
The El Segundo Art Walk is a summer event where creative business open their doors for studio tours. Each unique venue acts as a pop-up gallery displaying original works from over 50 Los Angeles-based artists. With more than 70 participating business owners and artists on hand, the El Segundo Art Walk draws well over a thousand people to the Downtown and Smoky Hollow area.
Public Art
World-class art abounds in El Segundo. Legendary artist John Van Hamersveld, known for creating the iconic The Endless Summer poster, created a one-of-a-kind 510-foot round mural in a tribute to the City of El Segundo and local surf legends. The mural is comprised of 51 visually striking, colorful panels (10-foot by 32-foot each), and incorporates Van Hamersveld's signature style and iconic imagery.
